Also described as 'Psycho-Geography' and 'Wild Writing', Nature Writing takes inspiration from nature and the self. In this one day workshop , we will be examining the genre through reading, writing, and walking the Wivenhoe Trail. We'll learn how to craft arresting, informative and interesting nature pieces.

We welcome everyone to join us on this adventure whether their interests lie in writing, nature or both.

DATES:    This one day workshop will be run on the following dates: Saturday 12th July or Saturday 13th September or Saturday 8th November.

TIMES:     10am - 3pm, Coffee and biscuits will be served. Lunch will not be provided but there are plenty of great pubs and cafes close by.

VENUE:    The library of the Nottage Maritime Institute, The Quay, Wivenhoe, Colchester, Essex, CO7 9BX.

COURSE LEADERS: Petra McQueen, an experienced writer and teacher, and Dr Sian Nedwell, a Marine Biologist and Conservationist.
